Harpy Holidays from Harrisburg Harp Orchestra!

 

Thank you for a great 2009 concert season!

In 2009, the Harrisburg Harp Orchestra appeared at four major concert events:

Italian Lake Concert Series in Harrisburg

Elegant Evening at Whitaker Center, Harrisburg

Anniversary Celebration at the Basilica of Saints Cyril and Methodius, Danville

The biggest and best ever Harp-Felt Christmas at Whitaker Center, Harrisburg

Now one of the nation’s largest harp orchestras, Harrisburg Harp Orchestra performs all original music arranged especially for multiple harps.  The orchestra sets the stage with dozens of beautiful harps, heavenly vocalists and a wide range of other musical instruments.  Every show is one-of-a-kind.

NEW CD RELEASES

“Elegant Evening,” recorded at Whitaker Center in September 2009 brings classical and Broadway music to life, with 24 beautiful harps and two gifted vocal soloists.  It’s gorgeous! Click here for more details!

Veni Emmanuel”is a new release of beautifully arranged ancient and traditional Latin carols.  Click here for more details!

Seasons, the talented harp and hammered dulcimer ensemble, has just released “Which Way to Dublin Town,” a wonderful collection of Irish dances and songs.  Click here for more details!

Harp-Felt Christmas, captured live at the Forum in 2008, features more than 50 harps in concert, plus talented special guests.  The 2008 event was the biggest and best Christmas concert ever, and the recording is superb!  Click here for more details!

NEW SHEET MUSIC

The Harrisburg Harp Orchestra performs all original music specially arranged for four to six harp parts.  Composer Louis Lynch has published two full volumes of harp ensemble music.  A complete list of individual Christmas songs also is available.  Click here for more details!

Lynch also has a series of solo harp music available.  Each book contains concert-worthy arrangements for harp (or piano).
